One of my readers emailed Joe Badali’s about the paycheck withholding imbroglio and received this response via email The reader posted the email in the comments section but I’m reposting it here. I can’t vouch for it’s genuineness but I think it’s only fair to put Badali’s response up. I asked Badali’s to verify the email but so far I’ve received no response. Must’ve been the “needledick” comment. Oh well. here goes…..
Dear (xxx)
On behalf of the employees and management of Joe Badalis Restaurant, thank you for taking the time to contact us. In both life and business wrong decisions are sometimes made.
Our recent decision to increase the payroll deduction for our service staff was wrong in both spirit and execution. We accept responsibility for our actions and have rescinded any consideration of increasing our servers payroll deductions. We have also met with all our service staff to apologize.
As with every issue, there are two sides to be heard. At Joe Badalis we feel very confident that our dedicated staff, who have been serving customers just like you for many, many, years, are supportive of both management and owners of this establishment.
We invite you back to Joe Badalis and encourage you to speak to our staff for a more balanced perspective of what actually occurred.
Joe Badalis has been in business since 1994 and has enjoyed success mainly due to its family of staff and managers. One of our core priorities at Joe Badalis has always been to exceed expectations for our restaurant guests and our staff and today, we disappointed both. We wholeheartedly apologize for our error in judgment.
For more than 12 years our Joe Badalis family has worked very hard to provide good food and excellent service for the hundreds of customers who walk through our doors every day.
We sincerely hope to have the privilege of seeing you again.
